Look honestly.
Act with purpose.

  • Insight into what is really causing the tension
  • Independent interpretation, even when it is uncomfortable
  • An approach that fits your context
  • Practical steps that people can support

From practice · Local government

A new care facility.
A neighbourhood to understand.

A municipality was preparing for the arrival of a care facility for people with addiction. The challenge: develop an approach that takes account of the neighbourhood and the different contexts involved.

An anonymised case from my advisory practice.

The approach

I supported the municipality in mapping the Cohesion Field. We used my Cohesiekaart and ContextKompas to explore what sustains connection and to examine the issue from different perspectives.

The outcome

The work produced a strategy and a clearer understanding of the different contexts involved. This gave the municipality a firmer basis for deciding how to approach the arrival of the facility in the neighbourhood.
